Circular

In pursuance of Rule 80 of the Delhi Cooperative Societies Rules, 1973 as amended, I Sanat Kaul, Registrar Cooperative Societies, Delhi Administration, Delhi hereby inform that Cooperative Education Fund account is being opened in the State Bank of Indian in the name of Cooperative Education Fund. The regulation for utilization and administration of fund are being framed by the Committee constituted for the purpose. The Cooperative Societies registered in the Union Territory of Delhi are hereby directed to deposit 2% of their net profit to a maximum of Rs. 2500/- per annum to the Cooperative Education Fund. The cheque/bank draft for the amount earmarked for this purpose since the Rules came into operation (i.e.2.4.1973) in favour of Co-Operative Education Fund may kindly be sent to the undersigned within one month of the receipt of this circular.

It may be worthwhile to mention that the fund shall be utilised for the promotion and development of Cooperative Education, Training and Publicity and other Cooperative Development programmes of the Cooperative in the Union Territory of Delhi as envisaged under the Rules.
